The Animal Agriculture Alliance hosted its eleventh annual Stakeholders Summit May 2-3 2012 in Arlington, Virginia. Ateendees were urged to open the barn doors and showcase the importance of modern food production. The eleventh annual event brough together nearly 200 leaders acrosss the food and farm sector to examine the theme: "Real Farmers Real Food: Celebrating Tradtion and Technology." The Alliance welcomes Tom Steever, President of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, as the 2012 Summit moderator.

Early registration for the one-and-a-half day event was $325 for Alliance members and $375 for non-members. The Alliance offered a special rate of $275 for those in government or academia. Please note that rates went up on April 13! To ensure that the Summit provides an optimal educational experience for attendees, registration was open only to companies and individuals directly involved in animal agriculture and food production.
